North Rhine-Westphalia updates butcher association board and 2027 trade fair plans

The Fleischerverband Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW Butchers Association) has elected a new board during its assembly in Hagen. Adalbert Wolf will remain at the head of the craft as Landesinnungsmeister, with a focus on integrating a younger generation of professionals into leadership and volunteer roles to ensure the future of interest representation.

Separately, preparations are underway for North Rhine-Westphalia’s participation in the 2027 Grüne Woche in Berlin. Under the brand ‘NRW is(s)t gut!’, the state will showcase its agricultural and food industry diversity. The 2027 appearance will feature the Ruhrgebiet as a partner region, highlighting themes such as nutrition, health, and climate resilience in coordination with IGA 2027.
