North Sumatra Governor urges Pendawa Indonesia to support MSME development
North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution has expressed his hope that the Persatuan Pemuda Jawa (Pendawa) Indonesia continues to contribute to the development of North Sumatra and Indonesia. This contribution is expected to be realized through community economic empowerment, specifically by supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
During the 27th anniversary celebration of Pendawa Indonesia in Medan, Acting Regional Secretary Timur Tumanggor conveyed the Governor's message, noting that the North Sumatra Provincial Government is committed to supporting local economic drivers. As part of this support, the provincial government will provide 10,000 free halal certificates to MSME practitioners to facilitate business growth.
Tumanggor emphasized that regional development requires strong collaboration between the government, community organizations, the business sector, academics, and religious and traditional leaders.
