North Tahara Aggregation hits market with $55 million expectation

The North Tahara Aggregation, a large-scale agricultural operation in the eastern Riverina region of New South Wales, has been placed on the market with price expectations of $55 million. Located 18km east of Wagga Wagga, the property comprises 4,805 hectares (11,872 acres) across three contiguous holdings: The Pinnacles, Valima, and Wheel of Fortune.

The operation is currently focused on breeding and growing Angus cattle, crossbred lamb production and trading, and an annual winter cropping program. The farming program includes canola, oats, dual-purpose cereals, lucerne, and improved pastures. The property features 2,054 hectares of developed arable country and has an estimated carrying capacity of approximately 40,000 dry sheep equivalents.

Water infrastructure is a significant component of the aggregation, which includes 73 dams, bores, three town-water connection points, nine header tanks, 56 troughs, and creek frontage. The site also utilizes modern technology, such as Farmbot water monitoring stations and mobile-connected tank level sensors, and includes a 10-stand raised-board shearing shed.
