North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo celebrates agricultural roots in Barriere

The 77th Annual North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo took place in Barriere from September 5 to 7, drawing thousands of attendees to celebrate the region's agricultural heritage. Under the theme “Hooves in the Dirt — Horses, Harvest and Homegrown Pride,” the event featured various community activities including the Lions Pancake Breakfast and a 4-H Sheep Show at the Agriplex.

A highlight of the festivities was the Fall Fair Parade, which showcased local equestrian and agricultural traditions. Members of the Yellowhead 4-H Club participated in the parade, including several young riders on horseback. This marked the first year the club included horses in the parade procession.
