North Wales football: Llandudno teams compete in cup fixtures

In recent football action across North Wales, Llandudno-based sides faced challenging conditions in cup competitions.

Connahs Quay Nomads defeated Llandudno 2-0 in Flint. Despite an early goal by Callum West in the 23rd second and Llandudno being reduced to ten men following a straight red card for Jayden Lloyd before halftime, the Seasiders maintained a disciplined defensive structure to limit the hosts' scoring opportunities.

In the NWCFA Intermediate Challenge Cup quarter-finals, Llandudno Amateurs secured a 2-1 victory over CPD Aberffraw in Anglesey. After falling behind to an Arwel Williams header, the Amateurs equalized through David Hansom and secured the win with a free kick from Joe Jones. Meanwhile, Conwy Borough progressed to the semi-finals after a 4-3 win against Llanfairfechan Town, surviving a late comeback attempt.
