North West headlines first solo concert in Chicago

North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye, headlined her first solo concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago on September 5. The sold-out performance featured songs from her debut EP, ‘N0rth4evr’, as well as new material, including a track that samples Ye’s 2008 song ‘Coldest Winter’.

Both Kim Kardashian and Ye attended the event, watching from separate areas of the theater. Both parents shared footage of the performance on social media to express their support. This debut follows the recent cancellation of a planned 14-date tour with rapper Molly Santana.

Earlier this year, North West signed with the independent music company Gamma, an imprint led by former Apple executive Larry Jackson.
