North Western Railway announces 2,008 apprentice training slots

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway, Jaipur, has issued a revised notification for the 2026-27 apprentice recruitment session. A total of 2,008 training slots will be filled across various divisions and workshops, including Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, and Jodhpur.

Applications will open on October 23, 2026, and close on November 22, 2026. Candidates must be between 15 and 24 years of age by the application deadline, with age relaxations provided for reserved categories. Educational requirements include passing the 10th grade with at least 50% marks from a recognized board, alongside an ITI certificate in a relevant trade from NCVT or SCVT.

Selection will be based on a merit list derived from marks obtained in the 10th grade and ITI qualifications, meaning no written examination or interview is required. Successful candidates will proceed to document verification. An application fee of 100 rupees applies to General, OBC, and EWS categories, while SC, ST, PwBD, and female candidates are exempt from the fee.
