North Yorkshire teenager dies in Range Rover and tractor collision

A 19-year-old man has died following a collision between a Range Rover SVR and a Massey Ferguson tractor near Selby, North Yorkshire. The incident occurred on the A163 in Barlby at approximately 7:30 p.m. on September 29.

According to North Yorkshire Police, the Range Rover collided with the rear of a large trailer loaded with bales being towed by the tractor. Both vehicles were reportedly traveling eastbound at the time of the crash.

In addition to the fatality, a second 19-year-old man in the Range Rover was hospitalized with injuries. The tractor driver also received medical treatment. A 17-year-old boy traveling in the Range Rover has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact North Yorkshire Police.
