Northeast US autumn travel and foliage forecasts
The Northeastern United States is entering the autumn season, offering various travel and foliage viewing opportunities across major cities and regional parks.
In Philadelphia and the surrounding southeastern Pennsylvania region, peak fall color is expected to arrive later than usual. While color is beginning to emerge in Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources predicts that peak foliage for Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties will likely occur between late October and early November.
Other major Northeast destinations such as Boston and New York City are also highlighted for seasonal travel. Visitors to Boston can explore the Public Garden and Charles River Esplanade, while New York City offers autumn activities in Central Park, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and the West Village.
