Northeastern University athletic teams compete in field hockey and men's hockey matchups

The Northeastern University field hockey team is set to begin the 2026 CAA Field Hockey Championship on Wednesday, Nov. 4. As the No. 4 seed, the Huskies will face the top-seeded Fairfield Stags at Drexel's Buckley Field in Philadelphia. Northeastern enters the tournament with a 6-10 overall record and seeks its first tournament victory since 2019.

In men's hockey, the Northeastern Huskies split a weekend series against the No. 20 Boston College Eagles. Both games went into overtime, with the Huskies falling 3-2 in the first matchup. The series featured the return of senior goaltender Lawton Zacher following an injury sustained in mid-October.
