Northern Arizona defeats Utah Tech 35-23

Northern Arizona defeated Utah Tech 35-23 on Saturday night. Ty Pennington contributed significantly to the victory, throwing two touchdown passes and rushing for another. Pennington completed 18 of 27 passes for 311 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown pass to Darius Haskin.

Kenveon Stone provided key rushing performances for the Lumberjacks, recording two touchdown runs and totaling 90 yards on 11 carries. Myseth Currie also contributed with 117 receiving yards.

Utah Tech briefly narrowed the gap to 28-23 in the fourth quarter following a 22-yard touchdown pass from Bronson Barben to Ace Chatman. However, Stone responded with a 33-yard touchdown run to secure the win for Northern Arizona. Chatman finished the game with 110 rushing yards and a touchdown run.
