Northern Borders Province Emirate launches Enbthon digital innovation initiative

The Northern Borders Province Emirate has launched ‘Enbthon,’ a digital innovation initiative aimed at developing technological solutions to address regional administrative challenges. Under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the program seeks to enhance government service efficiency and improve user experiences through modern technology.

Registration is open to various professionals, including programmers, developers, data and artificial intelligence experts, entrepreneurs, researchers, and university students. Participants can compete individually or in teams to create prototypes that address real-world problems identified by government entities. The initiative focuses on three primary tracks: the integration and automation of government services, the improvement of the beneficiary journey, and data and artificial intelligence.

Registration remains open via the Emirate’s portal until September 7, 2026. Following the registration period, the Emirate will conduct a selection process to notify accepted teams before moving into the development and prototyping phases.
