Northern Cyprus Tennis Federation announces 2026 padel calendar

The Northern Cyprus Tennis Federation (KKTF) has established a formal structure for the sport of padel through its Padel Committee. Following four meetings involving club representatives, the committee has finalized the 2026 activity calendar, tournament instructions, and criteria for facilities wishing to host events.

The new organizational structure aims to align the growing sport with international standards and ensure sustainable competition. Under the 2026 schedule, five sanctioned point-based tournaments will be held on the following dates:

• August 28–30, 2026 • September 11–13, 2026 • October 16–18, 2026 • November 6–8, 2026 • December 4–6, 2026

The first event, scheduled for late August 2026, will be the first point-based tournament organized by the KKTF. This system is designed to provide athletes with regular competitive experience and inclusion in an official ranking system.
