Northern Cyprus UBP Schedules Vision and Project Workshop

The Ulusal Birlik Partisi (UBP) will hold a three‑day “Vision and Project Workshop for a Strong, Sovereign Future of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” from July 29 to July 31 at the Yakın Doğu University Large Library. UBP leader and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said the party has been a key partner of successive governments since May 2019 and aims to strengthen the region, raise living standards and deepen ties with mainland Turkey.

The workshop will bring together public‑sector bodies, professional organisations, NGOs, academics, former and incumbent ministers, members of parliament and municipal leaders. Participants will work in thematic committees on foreign policy, economy, finance, trade, industry, tourism and other sectors, producing reports that will guide UBP’s policy agenda and ongoing projects. Üstel emphasised that the event seeks to institutionalise collective expertise and generate new visions and strong projects for the upcoming term.
