The Northern Illinois University women's soccer team is set to begin its 2026 season on Wednesday, August 12, with an away game against Illinois State. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Following the opener, the Huskies will face DePaul on August 16 before hosting Northern Iowa for their home opener on August 23. Head coach Michael O'Neill noted that the team is focused on building its identity through the non-conference schedule.
