The Northern Iowa Panthers defeated the Indiana State Sycamores 45-23 at the UNI-Dome, maintaining their undefeated home record. While the first half remained competitive, Northern Iowa secured the victory with a strong fourth-quarter performance.

The Panthers' offense was led by a dual-threat running back approach, with Christian Collins rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns, and Xavier Terrell adding 103 yards and two touchdowns. A critical defensive play occurred in the fourth quarter when UNI safety Calvin Jaworski intercepted a pass and returned it 60 yards for a touchdown, extending the lead to 45-23.

Indiana State quarterback Elijah Owens recorded 313 passing yards and two touchdowns, along with 122 rushing yards and one touchdown. Despite several drives reaching the UNI red zone, the Sycamores were unable to convert due to penalties and turnovers, including a fumbled snap at the end of the first half.
