Northern Ireland U21s defeat Malta 4-0 in Euro qualifier

Northern Ireland’s Under-21 national team secured a 4-0 victory against Malta in a UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier at the Centenary Stadium.

Jack Patterson led the scoring with two goals, finding the net in the 43rd and 63rd minutes. Shea Kearney opened the scoring in the 31st minute, followed by a final goal from Bayley McCann.

Despite Malta creating several opportunities through players like Lucas Caruana and Shaisen Attard, they were unable to overcome the Northern Irish defense and goalkeeper Stephen McMullan. Northern Ireland maintained control throughout the match, scoring twice in each half to secure the win.
