Northern Ireland women's football teams engage in international activity

The Northern Ireland women's football program has seen activity across multiple levels. The Under-15 development squad recently participated in a UEFA development tournament held at the National Training Centre in Tirana, Albania. Competing against Romania, Latvia, and Albania, the squad secured a 1-1 draw against Latvia, winning a penalty shootout to earn an extra point.

Meanwhile, the Northern Ireland senior women's national team utilized the Galgorm Resort as a base for preparations ahead of their FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 European qualifying play-off against Portugal. The team's stay at the resort preceded their first-leg fixture at Inver Park in Larne.
