Northern Nigeria Military Faces Terrain and Rainfall Obstacles in Fight Against Terrorists

Military officials confirm that heavy rains and muddy ground further restrict the movement of armored vehicles, forcing troops to rely on air support. Operation Fansan Yamma has recorded weekly recoveries of weapons and neutralisations of militants, but the groups have shifted to remote forests and isolated settlements, exploiting the harsh landscape to evade patrols.
