Northern Railway launches digital locker service at Delhi stations

Northern Railway's Delhi Division has launched a modern, technology-driven digital locker service at major railway stations to assist travelers with luggage storage. The facility is designed to be fully cashless and automated, utilizing mobile OTP (One-Time Password) verification and UPI payments instead of traditional keys or paper receipts.

The service is currently operational 24/7 at New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS) and Hazrat Nizamuddin (NZM). At New Delhi station, the lockers are located in the main hall near the digital display boards by platform number 16. At Hazrat Nizamuddin, they are situated next to the stairs near the main entrance. The lockers are available in five different sizes: mini, small, medium, large, and extra large.

Infrastructure is already prepared for the rollout at Delhi Junction (DLI) and Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT), with services expected to begin there shortly. To use the system, passengers enter their 10-digit mobile number on a monitor panel, verify their identity via OTP, select a locker size, and complete the transaction digitally.
