Northlane Announces New Album 'Anemoia' and Australian Tour

Australian metalcore band Northlane revealed that their seventh studio album, Anemoia, will be released on 30 October. The record, produced by Jordan Fish and inspired by a set from UK producer Evian Christ, explores themes of burnout and nostalgia, blending electronic metal with trance, drum‑and‑bass, jungle and pop elements. The lead single “CUT_it” describes the feeling of total exhaustion.

To promote the album, Northlane will embark on their biggest national headline tour to date, kicking off in Perth on 5 November and visiting Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and other major cities. Supporting acts include US progressive metal group After the Burial, Sydney‑based Cenobia, and local band Above, Below. Frontman Marcus Bridge and guitarist Jon Deiley highlighted the album’s mix of darkness and hope, noting it is their most hopeful record yet.
