Northlane postpones new album and Oceania tour

Australian metalcore band Northlane has announced the postponement of their upcoming seventh studio album, titled ‘Anemoia’. Originally scheduled for release on October 30, the album is now expected on November 27, 2026, due to production delays.

Additionally, the band has rescheduled their upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand to May 2027. This decision follows health complications experienced by guitarist Josh Smith, who has been managing chronic health issues for approximately two years. His condition has recently worsened, requiring immediate medical attention and preventing him from traveling or performing.

While the Oceania tour is delayed, Northlane’s scheduled performances in the United Kingdom and Europe remain unchanged, including a show at Élysée Montmartre in Paris on December 8. A North American tour is also planned for early 2027. To provide fans with new material during the delay, the band has released a new single titled ‘Deathwish’.
