Northlane releases ‘Crucified’ single ahead of new album

Australian metalcore band Northlane has released ‘Crucified’, the third single from their upcoming seventh studio album, ‘Anemoia’, which is scheduled for release on October 30.

Frontman Marcus Bridge describes the track as an exploration of the collapse of civil discourse and the erosion of dialogue. The song addresses how disagreements frequently escalate into personal attacks and how individuals often adopt victimhood when opinions diverge, a phenomenon Bridge notes occurs in politics, online arguments, and warfare.

The single follows previous releases ‘Evian’ and ‘CUT_it’, continuing the band’s blend of heavy metal riffs and electronic textures. The production for the new material involved collaboration with Jordan Fish, formerly of Bring Me The Horizon, who helped refine the band’s sound while integrating his own musical elements.
