North‑South EcoBridge Youth Exchange Connects Sweden and Greece

Seventeen Greek youths participated in the North‑South EcoBridge mobility, part of the Erasmus+ programme, held from 28 July to 4 August in Sandviken, Sweden. The exchange was organised by the Active Youth Group of Western Macedonia together with the Swedish youth organisation Rapatac.

During the visit the participants attended workshops and tours of the Gästrike Återvinnare environmental centre, the Railway Museum and Högbo farm, gaining experience in recycling, sustainable mobility and resource‑efficient agriculture. The project seeks to deepen intercultural dialogue on climate action, with a second phase planned for October in Florina, Greece.
