Northview Golf and Country Club hosts PGA Tour Experience

Northview Golf and Country Club in Surrey is hosting its seventh annual PGA Tour Experience from August 27 to August 30. The event commemorates the professional tournaments held at the course between 1996 and 2002, which included the Greater Vancouver Open and the Air Canada Championship.

To replicate the professional atmosphere, the club utilizes official PGA Tour signage, mock leaderboards, and tee gifts. Participants on the Ridge course receive formal introductions at the first tee, accompanied by staff holding ‘quiet’ signs and recorded applause.

This year’s event specifically recreates the conditions of the 2001 tournament won by Joel Edwards. The course features the specific pins and tees used during each day of that 2001 tournament. The Air Canada Championship trophy, on loan from the BC Sports Hall of Fame, is also available for photography at the first tee box.
