Northwest U.S. Wildfires Draw International Firefighters and Medical Teams
Firefighters from Australia and New Zealand, a team of about 74 personnel, have been deployed to more than a dozen incidents across Oregon and Washington to fill critical leadership and incident‑management gaps as wildfires stretch U.S. resources thin.
