Northwestern University's athletic teams saw mixed results in recent collegiate competitions. In field hockey, the No. 1 ranked Northwestern team secured a 2-1 victory over No. 6 Iowa at Lakeside Field. Senior forward Ashley Sessa scored both goals for the Wildcats, marking the program's 600th overall win since achieving varsity status in 1980.

In women's soccer, Northwestern fell to Rutgers University with a score of 3-2. Rutgers maintained an early lead through goals from Gabriela Gil, Morgan Hippeli, and Lilia Calvert. Despite two goals from the Wildcats, the Rutgers defense held to secure the win.
