Northwestern rushing attack dominates Penn State in first half

Northwestern's rushing attack dominated Penn State in the first half of their matchup in Evanston, Illinois. The Wildcats recorded 237 rushing yards on 25 carries during the first half, averaging 9.5 yards per carry. Running back Joseph Himon II led the performance with 134 yards on five carries and three touchdowns, helping Northwestern secure a 24-7 halftime lead.

Despite the defensive struggles, Penn State linebacker Tony Rojas remains a notable prospect for NFL scouts. Following a recent loss by the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team sent a scout to the game to evaluate Rojas, who is currently ranked as the No. 82 overall prospect for the 2027 NFL Draft and is considered one of the top linebacker prospects in the class.
