Norton partners with Foster + Partners for new dealership concept
British motorcycle manufacturer Norton has announced a new retail strategy to support its international relaunch. In collaboration with the architecture firm Foster + Partners—the studio responsible for Apple Park—Norton is introducing a new dealership concept designed to function more like an art gallery than a traditional showroom.
The new modular spaces are designed to be approximately 50 square meters, allowing motorcycles to be presented as ‘mechanical sculptures.’ This approach emphasizes the details, materials, and craftsmanship of each model, moving the customer experience away from a simple transaction toward a luxury-oriented journey focused on customization and observation.
The format is intended to be practical for dealers, featuring a projected lifespan of seven years and requiring lower investment than traditional showroom upgrades. The design aims to balance the brand’s British heritage with a modern identity to facilitate expansion into new markets.
