Norway addresses historical injustice and reparation themes

Discussions regarding historical injustice and restorative justice are prominent in Norway, focusing on both indigenous Sami rights and the African diaspora.

Debates surrounding the legacy of Norwegian assimilation policies against the Sami, Kven, and other minorities highlight the long-term impact of forced Norwegianization.
