Norway dominates Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix in Bischofshofen

Norwegian athletes dominated the opening stage of the 2026 Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix in Bischofshofen, Austria. Jens Luraas Oftebro secured a victory in the men's Gundersen event, finishing 25 seconds ahead of his brother, Einar Luraas Oftebro, who took second place.

In the women's competition, Ida Marie Hagen claimed victory after overcoming a 16-second deficit from jumping leader Alexa Brabec. Hagen demonstrated significant strength during the cross-country portion to secure the win. In a separate women's event, Ema Volavsek won by a narrow margin of 0.3 seconds.

Oftebro expressed confidence in his current form, noting that his work on the jumping hill over the past 18 months has yielded strong results and anticipating even better performance during the upcoming winter season.
