Norway Epstein commission launches public tip line

The commission investigating Jeffrey Epstein’s connections to Norway has launched a website to collect tips from the public, allowing for both anonymous and named submissions. Led by Amund Djuve, the commission holds a broad mandate to examine Epstein’s network in Norway and its potential influence on Norwegian campaigns for international positions.

The investigation also covers Norway’s relationship with external organizations, the management of development aid, and the general practice and culture within the foreign service. The scope of the inquiry is extensive, covering the period from the end of the Cold War, including the processes leading up to the 1993 Oslo Accords.

In a parallel process, the Storting’s Standing Committee on Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs is scheduled to question several former foreign and development ministers regarding control and culture within the foreign service. Commission leader Amund Djuve stated that information from these parliamentary hearings will be integrated into the commission’s overall evidentiary basis.
