Norway and Denmark face unusually warm weather forecasts
Meteorologists are forecasting unusually warm weather across parts of Northern Europe. In Norway, state meteorologist Marek Ratajczak of the Meteorological Institute reports that warm air from the Mediterranean is expected to flow into the country due to a high-pressure system east of the country and a low-pressure system near Iceland. This could lead to potential temperature records for October, with temperatures potentially exceeding 20 degrees Celsius in several locations, particularly in Southern and Central Norway.
In Denmark, weather patterns show a mix of conditions. While some areas face cool mornings and rain, forecasts suggest a period of milder, drier weather with temperatures reaching up to 22 degrees Celsius by mid-week. The transition into autumn has brought varying conditions, but upcoming days are expected to offer more sunshine and warmer temperatures before a potential decline later in the week.
