Norway football squad brings traditional food supplies to 2026 World Cup in US

Ahead of the 2026 World Cup, Norway's national football team staged a heritage photo in which players posed in the shirts of the local clubs where they began their careers, underscoring the role of amateur teams in player development.

The Norwegian federation also shipped a large food delegation to the United States, including about 300 kg of fish, 116 kg of Norwegian cheese and 6 000 oranges, together with renowned chefs. The aim is to let the players continue eating familiar foods to maintain concentration, well‑being and performance during the tournament. Norway will face Iraq, France and Senegal in Group E, with the opening match scheduled for 16 June.
