Norway railway workers face threats and potential strike

Simultaneously, a potential strike looms for next week. If mediation between unions—including Norsk Jernbaneforbund, Norsk Lokomotivførerforbund, and Delta—and the employer organization Spekter fails, 132 employees could walk out starting Wednesday morning. Vy has warned that the RE10 line between Drammen and Lillehammer would be severely impacted, with few to no trains running between Eidsvoll and Lillehammer.
