Norway records four fatal road accidents in one day

Four separate traffic accidents on Saturday claimed four lives across Norway. A motorcyclist was killed after a crash on the E6 near Grong in Trøndelag, and another rider died following a run‑off in Indre Østfold between Askim and Rakkestad. In Skien, a bus entered the on‑coming lane and collided head‑on with a car, killing the car driver; the bus driver has been charged. A separate crash in Alver, Vestland, also resulted in a fatality, with the cause still under investigation. Emergency services, including air ambulances, responded to each scene, and road sections were temporarily closed. Norway's road safety organization Trygg Trafikk urged motorists to drive cautiously and stay focused, emphasizing the responsibility of every driver.
