Norway skips Summer Grand Prix ski jumping stage in Rasnov

The Norwegian ski jumping federation has announced that several top athletes will skip the upcoming Summer Grand Prix stage in Rasnov, Romania. The decision aims to prioritize training and preparation for the upcoming winter season.

Key athletes including Halvor Egner Granerud, Johann Andre Forfang, and Marius Lindvik will not participate following their appearance in Courchevel. Instead, they will focus on training in Norway. The female team is also expected to remain home for preparation.

Norway will be represented in Rasnov by Adrian Thon Gundersrud, Isak Andreas Langmo, Benjamin Oestvold, and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal. National team sports director Jan-Erik Aalbu stated that prioritizing training for experienced athletes is necessary during this pre-season phase, while providing international experience to other competitors.
