Norway's Sovereign Wealth Fund rises to 22,695 billion NOK
The Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, managed by Norges Bank Investment Management, saw its total value rise to 22,695 billion NOK by the end of the second quarter. This follows a previous valuation of 19,998 billion NOK at the end of the first quarter.
Updated holdings lists reveal that Nvidia is the fund's largest single equity holding, valued at 612 billion NOK, followed by Apple at 522 billion NOK and Alphabet at 499 billion NOK. Other major holdings include Microsoft, Taiwan Semiconductor, Amazon, Broadcom, Samsung Electronics, ASML, and SK Hynix.
Several companies that were in the top ten at the start of the year, including Tesla, Meta, and Eli Lilly, have since fallen out of the top ten rankings. Tesla currently holds the 13th position with holdings valued at 156 billion NOK.
