Norwegian authorities conduct traffic inspections in Aukra and Hustadvika

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen) conducted traffic inspections in Aukra and Hustadvika. At Julsundet school, authorities inspected 11 electric scooters, identifying two instances of faulty brakes and lights. Additionally, a 3,000 NOK fine was issued for two individuals riding on a single scooter.

In the Aureosen and Malmefjorden areas of Hustadvika, 37 vehicles were checked, resulting in eight written reports for technical deficiencies, one fine for worn tires, and one fine for a missing vehicle registration certificate. In total, 47 light vehicles were inspected during these operations.

Separately, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a car in Strandgata, Åndalsnes. Police reported no personal injuries, but a case has been opened due to a violation of the right of way.
