Norwegian band D.D.E seeks 10,000 NOK from each E6 municipality for road‑movie project

The Norwegian pop‑rock group D.D.E is asking the 45 municipalities that the E6 highway passes through – from Svinesund in the south to Bodø in the north – to each contribute 10,000 NOK. The money would fund a new “road‑movie” video celebrating the 30‑year anniversary of the band’s hit song “E6”. The estimated total cost of the production, which will include audio, video and drone footage, is about 800,000 NOK, and filming is planned for September. Band member Bjarne Brøndbo said the project will feature locals singing the song from the highway’s surroundings, but the band has not yet received any responses from the municipalities and is also approaching businesses and contractors for support.
