Norwegian Football Federation warns of fake ticket scams

The Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) has issued a warning regarding fraudulent websites attempting to sell fake tickets for upcoming national team matches at Ullevaal Stadion. These scam sites are designed to closely mimic the NFF’s official ticketing platform to deceive fans.

Runar Pahr Andresen, the NFF’s commercial director, noted that AI tools are being used to create highly convincing websites and even AI-generated images of tickets. Scammers are reportedly using sponsored posts on Meta platforms via a page called ‘ticket arena’ to redirect users to fraudulent URLs.

The NFF advises supporters to carefully verify the URL in their browser before making purchases. The warning comes as pre-sales begin for the men’s national team match against Wales scheduled for November 14.
