Norwegian King Haakon and Princess Ingrid Alexandra miss Skagen Marathon

Norwegian King Haakon Magnus and Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra were registered to participate in the Skagen Marathon in Denmark on October 3, but neither appeared for the event. The two were listed in the participant registry using only their first names, with bib numbers 4562 and 4563.

The Norwegian Royal Palace declined to comment on the private schedules of the royals. While the marathon organizers confirmed the registrations, the participants did not show up and no formal cancellation was issued.

Reports indicate that Queen Mette-Marit was unable to attend recent engagements due to a respiratory infection and is currently undergoing planned rehabilitation. The King's absence follows his participation in the opening of Parliament on October 2.
