Norway's autumn art season features major museum exhibitions
The upcoming autumn art season in Norway features several notable exhibitions across major institutions. The National Museum of Norway will host an exhibition by Adrián Villar Rojas in November, showcasing his assemblage sculptures. In December, the museum will present a solo exhibition by Ole Jørgen Ness, which includes twenty-four works transferred to the state as a symbolic gesture to settle interest on a student loan.
The Munch Museum is also preparing new programming. This includes an exhibition by German artist Katharina Grosse, known for site-specific spatial paintings created with industrial spray guns. Additionally, the museum will present the work of John Savio in December, highlighting his woodcuts and paintings that blend traditional Sámi expression with modern techniques.
