Norwegian royals Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus begin new studies
The Norwegian Royal Family has announced new academic paths for its children. Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 22, has begun an exchange semester at the University of Oslo within the Faculty of Social Sciences. She previously studied at the University of Sydney in Australia but returned to Norway to be closer to her mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, who is recovering from a lung transplant following a diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis.
Prince Sverre Magnus, 20, is starting a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Forward College. He will spend his first year studying in Lisbon, Portugal, before continuing his education in Paris and Berlin.
The Royal Palace stated that education will be the “most important task” for both siblings in the coming years, though they will continue to perform selected official duties for the royal house as their schedules permit.
