Norwegian schools face inspections and positive well-being reports

Alstahaug municipality will conduct inspections of local kindergartens and schools this autumn to ensure healthy indoor environments. These inspections will evaluate ventilation, air quality, cleanliness, lighting, noise levels, and hygiene routines to promote student health and learning.

Separately, a survey conducted by Opinion for FUG involving over 2,000 parents indicates high levels of student well-being in Norwegian schools. Despite recent criticisms regarding academic performance and absenteeism, nine out of ten parents report that their children feel safe, are treated with respect, and maintain good relationships with teachers.
