Norwegian Seafood Council launches salmon campaign in Poland

The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) is launching its first major marketing campaign in Poland to promote Norwegian salmon. The initiative aims to inspire Polish consumers to incorporate salmon into their diets and explore new culinary uses for the fish.

Poland has emerged as one of the most significant European markets for Atlantic salmon, with annual consumption exceeding 60,000 tons. Anders Nordøy Snellingen, Head of CEE at the NSC, noted the high potential for further growth in the region.

The campaign will feature global brand ambassador and footballer Erling Haaland. It will utilize a wide digital ecosystem, including social media, programmatic video, and YouTube, as well as retail media platforms like Lidl and Listonic. In December, the campaign will expand to television, positioning salmon as a festive alternative to the traditional Christmas carp.
