Norwegian sports clubs prepare for upcoming matches and new protocols

Local sports organizations in Norway are preparing for upcoming events under specific operational guidelines. Sjakklubben Kampen på Brettet is hosting home matches for its first and second teams in the Østlandsserien divisions. The first team will compete in the 3rd division against Soss2, while the second team faces Rustad 4 in the 5th division.

In handball, Fana IL is implementing strict protocols for matches at Fana Arena as the Rema 1000-ligaen resumes. Capacity is limited to 200 spectators, with a total hall occupancy capped at 299 people including players, officials, staff, and media. Requirements include pre-purchased tickets, social distancing measures such as alternating seats and rows, and comprehensive access, emergency, and evacuation plans. A test match against Tertnes is scheduled for August 15.
