Norwich and Norfolk explored in Phil Hopkins travel account

Phil Hopkins recounts a recent four-day journey to Norfolk, marking his first visit to the county in over 40 years. The trip was prompted by a long-standing friendship with Tony Cooper, a theatre enthusiast known locally as ‘Mr Norfolk’.

During the visit, Hopkins explored the medieval streets, independent shops, and cathedrals of Norwich, as well as Great Yarmouth’s Hippodrome Circus. The tour included a stay at the Dunston Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, an Elizabethan Revival mansion located south of the regional capital.
