Norwich City and Burnley advance in Carabao Cup

Norwich City and Burnley have both progressed to the second round of the Carabao Cup.

Norwich City secured a dominant 4-1 victory against League One side MK Dons at Carrow Road. Mohamed Toure provided an early impact, scoring just 40 seconds into the match before assisting Anis Ben Slimane for the second goal in the seventh minute. Other goals were added by Ben Chrisene and Andre Brooks to seal the win for manager Philippe Clement.

Burnley faced a more difficult path in their debut under manager Nicky Hayen. After a 1-1 draw in regulation time against Notts County—with Zian Flemming scoring the equalizer for Burnley—the match proceeded to a penalty shootout. Burnley ultimately won the shootout 4-3, aided by goalkeeper Max Weiss, who saved two penalties.
