Norwich University names Dylan Trombley as assistant basketball coach

Norwich University Head Men's Basketball Coach Paul Booth has announced the appointment of Dylan Trombley as an assistant coach for the Cadets.

Trombley joins the program following his tenure as an assistant coach at Plattsburgh State University, where he began working in 2024. During his time with the Cardinals, he contributed to player development, scouting, recruiting, and administrative operations. His tenure at Plattsburgh included two SUNYAC semifinal appearances and the development of an NABC All-American and the 2025-26 SUNYAC Player of the Year.

Before his collegiate coaching career, Trombley served as a varsity volunteer assistant coach at Moriah Central School from 2021 to 2024 and coached for Elevate Wolfpack AAU teams. He was a standout player at SUNY Oneonta from 2018 to 2022, earning All-SUNYAC Second Team and All-SUNYAC Tournament Team honors.
